The Garey Avenue Rehabilitation Project (Project) is included in a phased approach to streetscape improvements that will contribute to the Downtown Pomona area and will repair and improve Garey Avenue – Aliso Street to Monterey Avenue. The central goals of the Project are to create a beautiful yet functional corridor that includes integrated transportation systems, improves road conditions, provides pedestrian and bicycle links, and improves overall vehicular circulation. With the addition of the bike lane, parking along Garey Avenue will be eliminated. Additional features include landscaping for the new medians and along the parkways.
