The Environmental Programs Division of Water Resources Department strives to protect and conserve our natural resources through education, planning, waste reduction, recycling, and pollution prevention. This division is responsible for the implementation, promotion, and management of the City’s Energy Efficiency projects, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program, and Water Conservation.

The City of Pomona participates in the San Gabriel Valley Energy Wise Partnership (SGVEWP), in partnership with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments, Southern California Edison, and Southern California Gas Company. The SGVEWP helps the City and its residents and business owners reduce their energy usage and costs.
