There are only six holidays during the year when trash collection is not performed:

• New Year's Day
• Independence Day
• Memorial Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day

When any of these holidays fall on a weekday, collections for the remainder of the week shall all be postponed one collection day. In each case, residents simply move their regular collection day to the following day. 

For example, when the holiday is Thursday, the trash will be collected on Friday. If the regular trash day is Friday of that holiday week, the trash will be collected on Saturday. When the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, trash will be collected on your regular scheduled day.
