The Hope for Home Homeless Services Center (H4H) continues to provide homeless services to our homeless residents in Pomona. Through its collaborative partnership approach, the City of Pomona works closely with its H4H site partners including Volunteers of America (VOA), Tri-City Mental Health Services (TCMH), East Valley Community Health Center (EVCHC), Prototypes Inc., SoCal Goodwill and additional community partners to provide supportive services to our H4H residents. Since December 5, 2018, H4H has provided the following services to H4H residents from Pomona and other areas in the County of Los Angeles.

Approximately 40% of the residents at H4H had a connection to Pomona before to becoming homeless. Sixty-two percent of these residents have been connected to Pomona for at least one year.

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the census count and operations at H4H. The City of Pomona has worked closely with Volunteers of America (VOA), the H4H program operator and selected partners including Tri-City Mental Health Services (Tri-City), East Valley Community Health Center (EVCHC) and the Department of Public Health to ensure that the recommended protocols and strategies are in place to protect the residents and staff from the spread of COVID-19. 

Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, H4H prioritizes moving its residents into permanent housing. Approximately seventy-five H4H residents have been placed into permanent housing since its opening on December 5, 2018.

In August 2020, EVCHC opened the onsite medical clinic at H4H and is now providing services to the H4H program participants and homeless residents visiting the H4H Access Center.
