The link below is the latest version of the City of Pomona Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), designed as a reference tool for coordinating emergency responses, from localized events to catastrophic disasters. The EOP lays the foundation for response and recovery operations within the City of Pomona by establishing roles and responsibilities, assigning tasks, and specifying policies and general procedures. It integrates critical elements of the Standardized Emergency Management System, the National Incident Management System, the Incident Command System, and the National Response Framework.

Emergency Operations Plan

The EOP facilitates an effective response to any emergency by promoting collaboration between the City of Pomona Operational Area (OA) Emergency Operations Center (EOC), first responders, and support agencies. The City of Pomona fully supports this plan and encourages all officials, employees, and residents to actively participate in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.

The EOP will be periodically reviewed and exercised, and revised as necessary to adapt to changing conditions. It will become effective upon resolution and adoption by the City of Pomona City Council.
