The Mills Act is a California law that allows owners of historic properties to enter into a contract with the City of Pomona to reduce their property taxes. It is intended that any savings is reinvested in the property to preserve it.
The City of Pomona requires that all Mills Act applications be submitted by June 1st to meet the December 31st contract recording deadline.
