The Ride to Live motorcycle training course is a FREE class presented by the Pomona Police Department. The program's goal is to provide motorcycle operators with the skills to avoid or minimize collisions while enjoying their ride. Additionally, riders will be educated on some of the common equipment and riding violations encountered within the City of Pomona. The course, taught by certified motor officers, focuses on the same riding techniques used by police motor officers every day. Funding for this program is a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.

Requirements -

· Riders must have basic riding skills; this class is not recommended for those who have never ridden before

· Have a valid motorcycle license and proof of insurance

· Provide your own street-legal motorcycle and safety equipment (DOT helmet, gloves, over-the-ankle footwear, eye protection)

· Sign a liability waiver before participation (have parent/guardian sign if a minor)
